SKILLS CAMP DAY 2

Saturday was action-packed as campers rotated through different gyms and stations to focus on the three different positions on the basketball court: point guard, wings/shooting guards, and post.  One highlight of the morning session was a Point Guard Clinic led by past and present H-SC point guard standouts Marcus Gregory, Mike Edwards, Mike Murray, and Leon Hargrove.

The afternoon session included a Post Play Clinic led by 6'10" Assistant Coach Tyler Sanborn. Coach Sanborn brings a wealth of knowledge about the post position from his years as National D-III Player of the Year and his professional play in Spain and France.

Meanwhile, the younger age group, ages 8-10, had an intense 5-on-5 game in Gammon Gymnasium.  They may be small, but their intensity and effort were huge! The game ended with an exciting buzzer beater win when Emerson Quirk from Raleigh swished it in for the win.  The team celebrated with a pile-up on Coach Mike Murray.
Life is good at H-SC Basketball Camp!
