Skills Camp Day 2

Day 2 of Skills Camp was awesome! The youngest of campers were up at 6:00 a.m. knocking on Coach Blunt's door ready to get started. After waking to whistles, the rest of the camp was up and out the dorm doors.

The morning gym session was filled with skills and drills.  Campers worked on ball-handling with Coach Gregory...

Sprints and shuttle runs with Coach King...

and survived Coach Blunt's intense obstacle course (yes, they had to push a tire!).

Campers were starting to feel the burn (calories and muscles!) around noon and stopped for some lunch and a short rest. Then it was back to Kirby Field House for some serious ballin'.

Dribbling and shooting evolved into floating and diving later in the afternoon when campers had the opportunity to cool off in the Hampden-Sydney swimming pool.  I think we have some future Olympic divers on campus!

Lots more happening at camp! Will post more soon!
